Man created God.

Man is by nature lost and misguided if not guided by a higher individual that he can look up to and follow. That is why we have dieties and idols; that is why we have God. If you disagree with me, think about it...unless you're a creationist or fundamentalist.

Well if you step back from the religious myths and beliefs of the Bible, as it may be right but it does not tell of God's beginning in full. It only tell of his existence in the beginning. That could mean in the beginning of the earth. Not God's beginning.

So let say that is right and the law of physics is wrong or missing something, and God can create something out of nothing. Which is believed by the mythic religions.

Now, think of it this way, if you believe in God, God has made a structure of man. Man, Woman, Child and a union to raise the people call a family unit. Man meets woman, have child, raises child in family and bequest land to the child. This is the structure of this God. So why would it not be impossible to think that somewhere out in a great vast of somewhere in the darkness, God was also a child, was raised by woman god and his father god, was given this earth to rule, and has then passed this on to his son, Jesus, just a logical structured chain of organized events.

Man created God.

Missy, God is not a man, therefore He is not created. God is the First Cause. He is the Author of everything apart from Whom nothing is. He is the Alpha and the Omega. The Beginning and the End. He exists outside of time and is therefore timeless. He has always been and always will be. Only Man tries to limit God when in fact God is limitless.

No one created God. God simply IS.

If God Made Everything, Who Made God?

We live in, among other things, a time dimension where one event follows another. Time passes. Everything ages. Throughout our lives, we learn that effects always have causes. We would be confused if they didn’t. Therefore, it is hard to imagine the first cause, and even harder to imagine what, if anything, preceded “The First Cause.”

Just as God created the universe and everything in it, God also created time. There was a beginning of everything, including space and time. Consequently, God is outside of space and time. This means that God is unchanging (I Sam 15:29, Mal 3:6, Heb 6:17, James 1:17). He had no beginning and has no ending.

Also, and more pertinent to the question, from God’s perspective an effect does not follow a cause. He sees the beginning and the end (Rev 1:8, 21:6, 22:13). Asking who made God before time began reflects a lack of understanding—even though most of us at one time have pondered the question. No one “made” God; He is infinite, outside of time, and existed before time began.

Thirty years ago, one of my children asked me this question as I tucked him into bed. While I can’t remember my answer, I am sure it was inadequate. Having years to think about his question has helped me somewhat resolve the logic of the preceding two paragraphs with what is hard to imagine.

Seeing things from God’s infinite perspective is probably as hard for us as it is for a dog or cat to understand what is on this printed page. If God is infinite and we are His finite creations, our limited understanding and perspective should not surprise us.

How else do we know that time began? The Bible is the most widely read book of all time. Within it, the most read page is probably the first page of Genesis. The first three words on that page

In the beginning ...

are probably the best-known group of three words of all time—the single, most widely proclaimed idea. By reading the fourth word, one sees that God was there at the beginning.

Another key insight comes from John 1:1.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Again, there was a beginning; we are also told Who was there when time began. Verses 1:2, 3, and 14 clarify these profound events even more.

For scientifically compelling reasons, there was a beginning. Alternatively, you can save time and effort by reading again the first four words of the Bible—and believing them.

In the beginning, God ...

Family is hardly the source for answers on this topic. God had no begining and no end. He was not created. He always existed. I know that's hard to wrap our brains around but God is not human.

Man. Simple. Man created god, and man created god creating man. When I see proof to the contrary I'll buy it, but you cant argue with plain logic and human reason. Man desires to explain away his greatest fears of the unknown. God provides that. God is a natural invention of the primative human psyche which was -- 1,000,000 years ago -- afraid, lost, confused, and fighting for survival. To cope and survive in prehistoric times, humans needed to resolve their greatest fear, their own existence.

Ask Homer Simpson, he has quite a relationship with God.

As for us humans here, we'll never know. Many think GOD has always been here, but this does not answer the question. Many think GOD is just a human creation made up around the camp fire, this has been disproved by GOD talking to us. Many have different ideas.
I have decided I do not know, and I am comfortable with this. Good luck in your quest.
