You can't stop them, It's just nature, I have 2 male dogs and they hump each other all the time, I had a different dog and had him fixed and he still humped.....I don't think there's a cure, He's probaly just learning and he will slow down, give him time....

Many people ask this question. Have you tried searching for all the people who have already answered this question in this section? I answered it just yesterday when someone else asked it. Whack him and tell him to stop it. It's disgusting. If he tries it on people, knee him sharply in the ribs, to shock him and hopefully wind him. And yes, if he is not there to breed pedigree animals from, get him desexed. The world does not need more mongrel dogs bred without purpose.
And to those who say it's part of life and you can't stop them doing it? Really? I have NEVER let mine do it. And therefore, they have never done it. I would not let any animal of mine attempt such a disgusting thing. Why do you let your dog behave like that?

You should probably severely damage your dog's genital area, or have a vet do it for a fee.
Your dog will wake up, and suddenly not have any reason to hump things. And, he'll look like he's smiling all the time for some reason, but that could be a fake smile to hide what's really going on inside.

Even females hump. It is a dominance thing. Just be firm and tell them no. I would also neuter him eventually if you aren't breeding him.

NEUTER HIM!! Take him to the vet, if he is 6mos old, they can neuter him. That should solve the issue.
Dogs sometimes can't handle all the hormones when they start maturing!!

Get him fixed. The sooner the better. Some will just keep doing no matter how much you scold them.

Neuter him. My cat was spayed and she didn't go into heat anymore.
But think about it carefully, 'cos it cannot be reversed so your dog might not be able to have babies.

ok what you do is get him neutered. and then he will be easier to train too and he will not be aggressive to you or anyone else. I have a labrodor retriever and he just got neutered today.
