Is it because many Pentecostal churches require their women to wear dresses, which obviously are more prone to exposure then are blue jeans?

I attend an Assembly of God church and we covere women's legs with light blankets when they were slain in the spirit if they're wearing dresses so they're not exposed. Most of the women in our church wear pant suits these days.

Mainly because not all people in attendance are christians, and might be peeping. The modern Pentecostals don't require dresses. The older members still think that way. From a Pentecostal who knows.

Some of the sanctified sisters have a cloth ministry where they cover the slain ladies with squares of black cloth, about 36" square. Bless their hearts and their respect for Godly modesty.

Hmmmm I have never heard of this one. I know in some religions the woman cover their heads with veils and or hats. I suppose covering the legs is something similar. Don't know, sorry I can't be of more help.

They only cover the woman's legs if the woman has whitey tighties on....If she is wearing a thong, then they will allow the men a little more liberty to take a peek...

I was raised Assembly of god and they did this in my church too. I have been to some churches where they do and some where they don't. I guess it is just the congregation.
