It is awesome only during the period before turning 21 where you can imagine doing all the things you ever thought of that a requires someone above 21 to do like owning a house, or gaining access to places and many others. But after and upon 21 it is not so awesome, infact it will get scary. 21, 22, 23 before you know it, you are 30.....

It's not really much different than turning 18, 25, or any other age for that matter. Oh yeah, you can drink legally now. Woo hoo.
I turned 21 in Florida. Went barhopping. Whoopty doo.
Actually, I think it was probably more fun to get away with sneaking a couple when underage. Just my opinion.

21 is like any other birthday. your legal to drink but with legality comes more resposibility. live it up responsibly because if not the consequences are greater now that your an adult. soon college ends and so does the partying and your everyday job starts be careful not to forget your studying in between your football career and your partying since you will need you smarts about you later in life. Enjoy this time and have fun with it and remember nothing last forever.

Well, my 21 st birthday was not that good. I was 6 months pregnant. But I my friends gave me 21 sodas instead of 21 drinks.

Can't say it was great.....I was 7 mo. pregnant when I turned 21. Besides it isn't fun anymore because when you turn 21 you can get away with drinking and buying alcohol legally. Kind of takes the fun out of it.

Well, you can do almost anything you want because you are officially an adult. There are still some bars and car rental places that will hassle you until you become 25, but most places will let you in.
It also means that you have no excuses. Signing a contract is legally binding, etc.

Nothing is different or at least when I turned that age a few or so years ago... You can just legally now do what I am sure you used to do illegally. It must be some rite of passage...but it didn't mean anything for me.
