You assume much. Your question seems to be rhetoric just to stir people up. Your question is your contemplation if you need God or not. Let's say that God does exist. Does He need you to question Him, His actions, His personality, His identity, etc.? I think not. But he does allow it. I have children & they do things I don't need, but have allowed. Do I need them? That depends upon the definition of need. Will we ever understand an all powerful & all knowing God? Not likely because we are not all powerful nor all knowing. Of course we have the ability to do something that He cannot. We can or can refuse to return our love for Him. Do more questions help you really solve what you are after? Maybe, but the attitude is revealed as well.

I think when you peel away the layers of human projection, God is not some cognisant being up in the universe playing some game of monopoly. There are billions of galaxies, billions of universes...if there is a God that concept is so gigantic that to say "Why us?" is like an electron posturing to a molecule.
So the answer is: who knows.

God wanted to create us. Why? I don't really know. The usual answer is that He created us in His image so that we would be able to worship Him. A criticism of that answer is that He created the angels, who could have fulfilled that desire for worship. An answer to that criticism is that Man can worship and appreciate God in a way and manner that angels cannot. This can go back and forth forever.
I tend to leave it that God wanted to create Man. Did He need us, as you put it? No. He did not need or require humans. He desired us. Someone wanted you to be created. Doesn't that make you feel good?

God is self sufficient and self satisfied. He doesn't need anything or anyone. But just as parents take great pleasure when their small children offer something, however insignificant, out of love, so God takes pleasure in the loving exchanges with His devotees.

Have you played the Sims or SimCity? What purpose does your sims have? Why do they keep on living even if they are suffering from the player's sadistic torments?
We are able to live, chase our dreams, achieve goals, and fall in love, despite being fully aware that our life will end. We have mortalilty; we can die. That is something that the immortals don't have, and that should make us cherish our living moments even more.

God created us just to watch us enjoy life.He thought we'd like it here but it has just turned out to be a big whining session due to our emotions getting in the way of enjoying life. The world has spawned a bunch of cry-babies who are so lost and so spoiled that it does'nt matter anymore.God is a good guy...He just wanted to give life.

There are lots of Gods and Goddesses and they each rule different domains. They create spirit children who have the opportunity to learn and grow. Earth is one of the "classrooms" where lessons are learned.

God is your dearest friend, your closest companion. Once God had an idea that he thought was so lovely, so perfect that he did not want to be without it. God loved this idea that he had so much that she thought a part of herself to have enough individuality to see it’s self as separate, as a unit, as an individual as you. God did this so that he might have you to love and so that she might have you to love her. This is the only truth of you and it will never change.
Understand how special this makes each and every one of us to God. This is why God loves each and every one of us unconditionally. Unconditional means no conditions are necessary. No hoops that we need to jump through to keep God loving us. No silly ideas of judgment or punishment or hell just love.
This is what God means to me. This is perfect faith in god’s love for us. Anything else is halfhearted partial faith. You really need to decide if you really have faith in God, or if you just kind of have a little faith in God. The later is what most people have.
Love and blessings

God does not NEED us. He doesn't need anyone. God created us out of His own sheer goodness. He has given us the privilege to get to know Him and love Him. I guess you can say that since God is love, He wanted someone who would love Him in return.
