I think you should go visit an attorney that doesn't get paid unless you get paid. There are many of those, and they usually advertise in the paper.
Then, I would file suit against those kittens.
Also, you will have to keep them in temporary jail, feed them, and give them actual full names. For example, John Allen Kitten. Thomas James Kitten. Mary Joe Kitten...you get the point. They will need names to be sued.
When you file the suit, read the suit to them with a bowl of milk in front of them. Tell them that if they understand why they are being sued, they should show that they understand by drinking the milk in the bowl that is sitting in front of them. Or, I suppose you could bring a ball of yarn, and tell them to bat it around if they understand why they are being sued.

LOl try it. Worst thing that can happen is the judge gives you custody and the lock up is at your house. Next time shut the storage door. Then the judge will fine you and lock you up for animal cruelty. Best thing for you to do is take them to the animal shelter and let them get good homes without cages.

I've never met a kitten with a mutual fund, stocks, or a savings account.
You had better let them out of that cage right now!

Maybe you could request that they get Community Service hours in lieu of jail, and be required to police the borders of your house for mice, etc.

Find their parents and deal with them. It's always the parents fault for letting their kittens run amok!!!!

I guess if you tell them they have to get a job when released. Then they can pay for the damages.
Don't hold your breath.
