Such a practice is evidence of bigotry and prejudice. Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

People believe the JW's to be a fanatical cult, that let many of their members die uselessly due to the blood transfusion issue. Your bibles have been translated incorrectly, you don't believe that Jesus is God, but simply a god in heaven, as His son alone. I could go on, there are many more, but don't expect people to take you seriously because of these things. You can't prove anything to someone who can actually interpret the bible. By the way, I feel the same way about Catholics hailing Mary as a queen in heaven, and the eternal virgin. So, no offense. But I really do think that you should just try to read the KJV of the bible. Your bible used to be that, and Russell took out a lot to fit his own 18 year old childish worldview. You should research how the religion began. Only if you don't think you'll be shunned for uncovering the truth. Every one I know in it is messed up in the head, because they really can't get an accurate grasp of the scripture. There is no such thing as a new world translation. The name alone implies changed scripture to fit our new world.
That might be the problem. The world isn't new.

I didn't view the original question or answers, but tell me, why should anyone accept an answer that is incorrect?
JWs are forbidden by their belief-system to read anything that is not published by the Watch Tower or Awake. How narrow minded is that? How can JWs seriously expect anyone who is open-minded to accept their views?
If I were to recommend literature concerning the Witnesses that is historically correct and true, would you even read it, much less accept it as fact since it didn't originate from Awake or Watch Tower? When you are conditioned to believe that everyone else is wrong, that all governments and organizations are of the devil how do you expect to interact with the world around you? Are you so surprised that the answer of a Jehovah's Witness was not picked as best?

Happens with atheists all the damn time. (As in people will post "How do atheists explain (x)".
40 people will tell them the correct answer, one troll will say "bcos atheists are stupid" and that will get chosen.
Christians are real vicious like that sometimes.

Why should anyone take an answer that is wrong? That is largely what happens when you get an answer on faith from a JW.
