I want to but I'm afraid that once I get it cut I cant turn back and
I'm afraid I wont look good in it.
I like how other people look in it,I'm also trying to impress this guy I know.
What should I do?
Should I go ahead and cut it?

From a guys perspective:
NEVER EVER try to impress a guy. Guys should be impressing you.
Be YO-SELF
As far as the short hair thing, I gotta say leave the short hair till after you've have 3 kids and have no time to do you hair.
Your young, keep it long, you'll have many more options as to how to wear it: UP, Down, Straight, Curly, Pony Tail, Pig Tails...u have lots of options...
Short hair is one dimensional, and you'll have to wear it the same way everytime, which leads to many bad hair days. It might look great when you come back from the salon, but you'll have a hell of a time trying to do it the way your stylist did.
My 2 cents anyway.

short hair starts with a cute face and nice features..... If you have both then girl cut that hair off. Long hair seems to hide all that fabulous-ness:) so show off what you got!!It is so much more fun over long hair..just don't go too short that way you can still work with it 2 days after you leave the salon. Ask your stylist for a cut that allows you to do this.

It depends how long your hair is now. I did this years ago and I was sorry I did it. I cut it really short all over and I had shoulder length hair to start. My hair grows slowly and it was horrible growing out...it took YEARS. I now have shoulder length hair, all one length in a bob fashion and I will NEVER cut it into layers again.
It's your decision, but once you do it you can't go back and it may take a long time to grow out.

My female best friend looks better with short hair; try it, you only live once. Once you cut it short you might want to experiment on spiking, cause sometimes she gets called a lesbian.

Why not ask the guy that your trying to impress what he would think? Alot of guys like girls with long hair.

y dont u imagine yourself in short hair and if u think it looks good go for it. but if u still cant decide i would wait a while. also the guy should like u for your personality not your looks.

well in my opinion i would say dont try to impress the guy, but if you want a new look try going shorter, but not too quickly--don't chop it all of at once yah know?

It's going to draw the attention to the details of your face. If you want the focus to be on your eyes, your cheekbones, your lips, go for it. If you like it, the guys will fall into place.
