Call a vet and put the paint up. Every minute you waste waiting for more answers is one more minute your dog is suffering. If you can't afford a vet call animal control to come get her and sign the surrender papers- you don't need a dog anyway if you can't afford her medical care.

If the paint was a latex paint, that's not as bad as an oil-base paint. But, it also depends on how big your dog is, and how long ago she drank it.
I'd call my vet; any vet, PDQ! Ask whether you should induce vomiting, or not.
My English Bulldog ate rat poison; I called my vet, took him in, PDQ, and couldn't believe what I saw. He put two drops of some kind of med. in my dog's eye....and you wouldn't believe how quickly, and how much he vomited! It was unreal...
Let us know what happens...

The ONLY option you have is to get off of the da@$ computer right now, call an emergency vet (if yours isn't in, try another, just keep going through the phone book...you'll get a call-back service if nobody is in), tell that vet what happened and get your dog there NOW. Don't wait for one more answer, GO.

It all depends on how much paint she drank. A little bit (teaspoon or less) won't hurt her, but if you're really worried, you can get her to drink hydrogen peroxide, and she will throw it all back up. I would definitely recommend getting her to drink hydrogen peroxide if she drank a lot. But before you do anything, CALL YOUR VET.

I don't want you to think I am heartless, because I adore dogs, but do you want to own such a foolish animal? Perhaps it is a case of natural selection weeding out the utter twits. A dog needs to be pretty daft to drink paint.

I hope you've already flushed her mouth with water to get the paint out and rather than asking here you should be on your way to the vet with your dog NOW.There are emergency animal hospitals about everywhere.Your vet has,I'm sure,an emergency number to call on his or her answering machine.Call it!

I would call your vet ASAP and tell them what happened. And also keep her as clam as possible so that her body won't soak up the chemicals in the paint faster. Good luck.
