Get a subscription (or back issues) to Runner's World magazine. They have a ton of articles for various levels of fitness.

Jeff Galloway's plan has also gotten good marks from a variety of people. Check it out here:

This guy literally wrote the book on running marathons. Lots of good info on the site. My friend used his program to train for the Marine Corp Marathon having never run a marathon before, and she successfully finished !
