look in the yellow pages for bankruptcy qand pick one, better still ask a few friends and get a reference. but first go to the local library and see i they have a free voluntary credit advising service and consider all your options.

Please be mindful that you will

(1) have to undergo credit counseling before you can file your case. That is, you must get a certificate showing you completed the counseling in order to file for bankruptcy and this certificate must be from an approved agency per the listing that the courthouse can provide..
(2) then you will have a Section 341 meeting with your creditors (should they show up);
(3) BEFORE your section 341 meeting with your creditors, you will be required to have your most recent tax filing (federal, state, and local if applicable) AND tax filings from the 3 previous years (federal, state, and local if applicable). If you can not prove your filings, then your case can be dismissed!
