Proper etiquette is you have until the newlyweds first anniversary to give the wedding gift. Don't sweat it, you have time.

Is it cash, or a gift card?
Just mail it to them (unless it's cash- send a check.). You're not really supposed to give them the gift on the day of the wedding anyways-- it should be shipped or delivered personally, before or after the wedding.

You have, technically, a year to give a wedding present. They are not going to feel slighted in the least if you wait 'til the next time you see them. OR you could always write a check and mail it with a card. No harm in that, either.

Take that cash to a store they are registered at and get a gift card, then mail it to them and apologize for forgetting. Simply say that everything was so crazy and you were having such a good time that you left it behind in your car. Thank them for inviting you to participate in their wedding and wish them a good life together.

Stick it in the mail tomorrow! They are probably wondering where it was (it is normally expected for the wedding party to give gifts), and then call the bride to tell her that you completely forgot, but it is on the way. Then laugh it off to being busy.

Email them and tell them what happened. See what works best for them - putting it in the mail (with some major insurance - I suggest USPS Priority mail) or holding on to it until you see them again. They might enjoy continuing to get gifts. Don't sweat it - it really isn't a big deal. Or at least, it shouldn't be.

Just give it to them when you give out the Thank You cards for the wedding gifts. Oh, did you forget that too.

I'd mail it... even though no one from my wedding party gave us gifts, its still a very nice thought.

Make a check out (if they live far away)and send it to them. With a note saying that you are sorry for taking so long to get it to them. Do not wait for another 1-2 MONTHS!!!! That would look silly!
