I used it when my hair was black and it turned it to a dark shiny brown, it looked really good. I would recommend it, just use the right Sun-In for ur colour of hair.

I have used the product. I am a light haired person, and it did a good job lightening my hair. It works with the exposure to the sun. I thought that it was a gentle way to lighten my hair, without using harsh products. I have recommended it to my daughters to use and they had no problems with it. If you have dark hair it will not be very beneficial. the darker your hair is the results will be less noticable, and may bring out more red tones to the hair.

yes, and it works great. My hair is naturally blonde but I have dark roots. I spray a little every few weeks on the roots and it works great. I'm careful not to use too much or use it on the entire head. It doesn't turn my hair orange, just makes the dark blonde blend with the rest of my haircolor.
Works great in my opinion...and yes it's different for everyone.

I used it all the time when i was younger back in the late 80s. Kinda as a cheap highlighter. It served its purpose but made my hair kinda look orange now that i look back on it.

As a colorist, I can tell you to NEVER, EVER, EVER use sun-in, the oxidation of the metallic dye in it turns your hair an awful orange color and any good colorist would not touch your hair after knowing you have sun in in it cause your hair would literally burn off...

Yes, I have used it and it turned my light brown hair ORANGE. I really would not bother using it. If you want subtle blonde highlights without using extreme measures, try squeezing lemon juice in your hair before sitting in the sun. (For red highlights, use cranberry juice).
