They have been told several times about the constant barking, Im afraid the other neighbors will think its my dog and its not! we have 1 dog and he has a runner kennel, she ties her dogs up to trees, and scoops up the fecies and throws it over the cliff that runs behind our house, i feel like this is not sanitary at all . I have spoken to the landlord but it seems like nothings getting done. any suggestions?

I can't believe that people are suggesting you shoot the poor dog. It's really the owner who's the problem. I'd continue complaining--I'd become as big a nuisance to the police (or animal control or whomever) as the dog is to you.
Another thing that sometimes quiets a barking dog is a nice big mouthful of peanut butter...but that's only temporary.

Call the police because the neighbors neglect to try to quit down the dogs. After they are called out about 3 time in one night they will do something because I'm sure they don't want to have to pay a fine for disturbing the peace. Also call the animal control if they have the dogs just tie to a tree all of the time. Maybe the health department can do something about the feces being thrown over the cliff.
Good Luck.

Call animal control, the humane society, the police, any other agency you think could help. Also, if possible make a video of the dogs tied to trees barking and of the feces that's been dumped. The more evidence of this nuisance the better. Good Luck!

Try an ultrasonic dog trainer. It looks like a remote control. It won't hurt the dog, but don't push the button for more then 2 sec at a time. Point it in the direction of the dog, if you have an idea where it is at the time. You can usually find them at a petstore for under $20 bucks.

Pity the poor dog, too. Tied up to trees. Don't people have any compassion for animals!! OOOH just makes me so mad. He's probably neglected and lonely. Your neighbors most likely are well aware of the situation, too. I wouldn't worry about it. Report them to the local humane society if you think the dog is in trouble.

You can always call animal control and they will address the problem. You can buy an electric collar for the dog which helps control barking if the neighbors would use it.

call the police or spca and report it. that doesn't seem to sanitary to me either.

DESPITE A LOT OF WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING- DON'T HARM THE DOGS- IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT THAT THEY BARK- IT'S WHAT THEY DO IT'S THEIR NATURE, IT'S THE OWNERS FAULT FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. IT'S ANIMAL NEGLECT!

Anyone who advises harming the dogs as a solution--you're a bunch of sorry cretins, and you should be ashamed of yourselves!
