it hurt me, but i have tiny veins. they were able to get the blood out, but were unable to put it back in my body after taking out the plasma. i'm a pr at the plasma center. permanent reject. :(

no, all they do is take out the blood, and filter out the plasma which they keep, the rest of the red blood flows right back to your system. they take the plasma out because it keeps longer, and encourages the growth of blood cells more. if shots are fine for you, donating "blood" isn't much harder, you'll feel woozy after, but they give you free food to boost the energy. that moment will be extremely scientifically interesting for you as you will feel the energy from the food pretty quickly.

For what reason do you wish to donate? If it is for the money, I would urge you to seek any/all other legal means to earn some, other than this. If you try it, you will understand why.
If it is because you have a rare antibody or there is something exceptionally special about your blood that can be used to help someone else, or that scientists want to study, you should be paid handsomely for the trouble.
Better yet, donate a pint at your local blood bank, all components can then be used for patient care.

no it dont hurt its one needle and they take blood out spin out the plasma cells then put the black out

It hurts and they stick a big needle in your arm thats the hurt part. I donated and passed out right after.
