This comment speaks to the difference between an open mind and a closed mind. An open mind can learn. A closed mind would not understand the truth if it was beat over the head with it, because it is so sure that it already has the answer.

Because.
It is not your job to make them see. It is your job to help those who want to see, and those who don't, you are instructed to shake the dust from your shoes.
Don't stress about it, brother. God has all power and will right all wrongs, impart all truths.
You can't force anyone to see. It is not possible.
Pray that God's will be done on earth. This is the only "solution." I put that in quotation marks because disbelievers aren't a problem to you. If you take them on as your problem, you should pray for humility, seek God's will for yourself, and work out your own salvation. The answers will come.

John 9:39-41
39 And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind." 40 Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?" 41 Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, "We see.' Therefore your sin remains.
Because those that can see the truth but refuse to accept it, that Jesus is the Messiah and our savior, the son of the of God, are worse than blind...they are lost. Whereas many blind came to Jesus in faith and were made whole and their sight returned to them, through their faith in him.

A person can be blind inthe eyes and still have sight...rather insight and wisdom. "Those who will not see" have made a choice toward ignorance and lack of understanding. They are the ones who are truly blind. They may have sight of the eyes, but they are blind in the heart and blind of wisdom.

It's the difference between not being ABLE to see and not being WILLING to see. Blind people make up for their disability by using their other senses. In a way, they CAN see. Ever see a sculpture by a blind artist? He or she used his or her fingers to feel, therefore, "see" the subject. But a person who refuses to see your side of a subject, or listen to your point of view, is way more blind.

Absolutely right. There is no worse kind of ignorance than wilful ignorance. Most theists choose to ignore reality because it is fatal to religious belief.

The key word in this quote is "will". In other words, not understanding something is one thing. Refusing to even be open to trying to understand something is the true ignorance.
