I do not see where it is necessary. We should live the moment,
not the past. And frankly, I do not want to know. I am interested
in the person. Right here right now, not who you did, or what you did. Hopefully if both partners are a good judge of character,
no surprises should come up anyway. Maybe later, when
you really trust each other and are comfortable discussing it.

that's a toughie. Couples differ. For us, it was better to be up front. For most, it is better to be up front, because chances are, it is going to come out eventually anyways, and then you get hurt feelings becuase they never told you. However, there are some people who it would be better to not tell. You just kind of have to judge who you and your partner are and go from there.

About each others sexual past..... well i never told mine to my bf i am with now and dont plan to and never asked him about his. but if one day the conversation just happened to pop up then i guess it would be okay. But for now i think you should let the past be past and yes it is better not knowing. but if you are just that curious then thats you. and i think its fine and he should be fine with it.

You should be straight up about it. Ya know? Don't lie about it, or hold it in. Just talk to each other about it. You are better off that way.

yeah girls need to know everything and us men just want to be mysterious. of course notify each other of any std's. but DON'T ask "how many"? we think "f*ck! it's a trap, now i'm not getting any for a month!"

Don't ask, don't volunteer.
