Trust me from experience there is NO way. Tomato juice does nothing. There used to be a product on the market, think it was called "Skunk away" or something similar, but have not seen it in ages. If there is a Pet Smart near you check with them. Might also try a google search. Good luck...we had a Doberman get a hold of a skunk by the tail and pulled the tail off, he got sprayed right in the face. We tried everything and nothing worked. But this was about 15 yrs ago, So they should have something out by now.

The very best thing Ive found is ladys doushe. It sounds weird but will definitely get rid of the smell.Just drench the coat and leave it on.Works fantastic and is much better and cheaper than skunk off sold at your vet.

The tomato juice thing works pretty well. There are a lot of things but I haven't found anything that gets rid of it 100%. You think it is gone and then the dog gets a little damp, and LOOK OUT!!! The smell is back!!

2 bottles of hydrogen peroxide
1/2 cup baking soda
1 squirt liquid dish soap
mix in bucket sponge on dog let sit for 10-15 minutes
rise well with water.
This works far far better than any tomato juice thing.
I use this on a regular basis as we have hunting dogs who get sprayed alot.

I can't say it's easy....you should try bathing him/her in tomato juice. After this has been done, give him/her a good bath. Otherwise, you might want to just let it ware off. Check out this website, it has better options.

Peroxide baking soda and liquid detergent as started in other answers. Be careful when using this tho. The chemical reaction in the mix can burn your pets skin if correct measurements are not used.
