Is there any CD burning software that will equalize playback volume across all source media? (When I make music CDs combining music I have downloaded and music I already have on CD, some songs sound slightly muffled while others are bright and crisp - and too loud.) I don't want to have to keep adjusting the voulme during playback.

iTines has a volume equalizer for your music library, turning up the low songs and bringing down the loud songs so that they are all the same volume, you have to select it in the options however.

Get "Nero Burning Rom"
It has an equalizer and volume controls.
Use the "Normalize" feature to equalize playback volume from different sources.
Also, try the equalizer. It will prove useful for those muffled sounding tracks. You can manually adjust the volume for each track as well.

I mostly use MusicMatch Jukebox, and it allows for volume leveling within the record settings. Takes a smidge more time to do the burning, but it's well worth it for the listening levels.

no. it received't replace or get louder. it ought to help the commonly used of the sound yet not the volume. the ipod has the means to regulate the volume aspect and actually digitally improving the commonly used of play notwithstanding that's not reverseable and could not do a difficulty on your cds volume smart anyhow. desire that facilitates.
