Indeed.
Christianity is the only religion worth bashing, though, since it is the only one that is true.
This is one of the crosses to bear. But it's not a heavy one. People can bash away. I can barely hear them. I'm not kidding.
The best comparison I can think of right now is somebody standing in front of my face saying that *I* don't exist because they can't prove me. I'm like, "All that says to me is that you are having trouble proving a fact."
A similar thing is true with regard to Christ. People say all sorts of things against Christianity, and seek to disprove this and disprove that, and I'm like, "All that says to me is that you are having trouble proving the truth." And when they want to go ahead and bash the religion, or bash Christ, or bash God, they aren't bashing me. They are bashing the religion, Christ, and God.
Better them than me.
Still, I hear your point and agree.

You can get away with bashing scientology or the New-Agers. You guys have it easy.
WHY would we bash scientology? Its nutty. So is Christianity, so is fundamentalist judaism, and the Muslims just take themselves WAY too seriously. There's a difference between bashing the rules of a religion and the people born to it. Not all Christians are fire & Brimstone fundies who think landoverbaptist.org is real.
Not all Jews are Money-grubbing, bling wearing people with bad health.
Not all muslims want to die in an explosion with a hundred other people.
As a matter of fact these stereotypes are in the minority.
However, if something about your religion makes NO sense to an outsider, or even seems over the top or weird, people are going to make fun of you, period.

i think it's because, while there are more Christians compared to the other religions, they are not as strong in their faith. some are Christians because "i was baptized" but have yet to ask Christ fully into their lives.
also, if they all stood together instead of saying my denomination is better than yours and stood up for the single belief they all had together - they would be less "bashed".
we need to stand in judgment of ourselves, not each other.

Yes and no. However I dont remember the last time there was an incident of "Christian bashing" coming from the Jewish population.

Don’t forget, Christians are, by far, the majority. It is not PC to pick on a minority but sense you are not, you’re fair game. Don’t worry, just try and convert them if you want to annoy them.

my only comment would be, why bash on anyone's faith? aren't we all decent people? have we no respect of other people's beliefs? if then, then does it makes us decent to be disrespectful? or are we all hypocrites, saying we're decent, but doing otherwise?

Yes, but it's possible Christians have brought it upon themselves.
