i did everything. i applied mousse, and used an iron curler, i already tried the rollers from night to morning, but it's no use... the curl doesn't last until the day is done, how do i make a curly hair stay longer? how can i get a curly hair that would last for a whole day?

I have naturally straight hair, so its really hard to curl my hair..and even if it does curl..to KEEP it curled. I bought the Chi ceramic hair iron 3/4 inches..and it just looks so beautiful the curls look so shiny. Before that i was trying a metal one that costs like 10 dollars...it was a burning disaster. Invest money on a good iron. You coudl actually smell my hair burning it see it on the metal. So anyways...if you cant buy the Chi which is like $90 you can buy these pink spongey rollers..section your hair into one inch sections and put a little water and gel and twist the strand of one inch...and start rolling it up from the bottom up. This works so well..although it is time consuming. when you are done your scalp should be full of rollers. If you stop half way..it will be unnatractive roll all the way up to your scalp. Dont forget to twist the hair before that though..the twist is what gives it spiral. Use hair spray after wards. ANyways you remove them but just lettinf them go and pulling them downwards not unrolling them...but pull them down vertically. If your curls didnt last...and believe me I understand..so well...invest money in the CHI curling iron. The rollers really work but with humidity it all eventually falls. Be realistic too, do it for a special occasion, a party, a dinner, w.e...but its very hard for it to stay the WHOLE day.
