I tried uninstalling a USB Bluetooth reciever, however when I try to uninstall it from the Device Manager, the uninstall option does not come up, only "Scan for Hardware Changes" and "Properties". Is there another way to remove the Bluetooth software?

Just physically unplug the device would do the rest, if that option is not avail, go Control Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager -> choose USB Bluetooth from list, double click it, select "Don't use this ddevice" OK reboot.

if the device is USB it is 'uninstalled' each time you disconnect it from the machine, but you should click the 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon first

to remove the SOFTWARE, go to Control Panel & Add/Remove PROGRAMS
