Cybersex is like going to a strip club. Is going to a strip club cheating?

I think that having sexual thoughts about any other woman besides your girlfriend or wife is cheating...period. Women are princesses and queens. Treat them like it. They deserve nothing less than respect and admiration. I don't mean to be rude, but you don't understand that, then I don't think you deserve to be with any woman.

Anything that involves sex or love with someone else can be cheating, if you're partner isn't OK with it. If you're partner's OK with you going to strip clubs, then it's not cheating. If your partner's OK with you having cybersex with other people, then it's not cheating. But if they're not OK with it, but you do it anyway, then you're cheating on them.

So it's up to your partner. But many women would be more worried by cybersex than by a strip club because it's more personal, there's more opportunity for emotional intimacy, it's more likley you might end up falling in love with the other person. No-one but a fool would fall in love with a girl at a strip club, it's obvious you have no chance. With cybersex, that's not so obvious.

Cybersex is not like going to a strip club. When you are interacting with people one-on-one you are breaking an unspoken trust. You are leading someone on behind another's back and it would hurt them if they knew. That's why it's cheating. There are different levels and they don't all include touching. Whether going to a strip club is cheating is debatable. I think it depends on how your significant other feels. If they are ok with it, then no. If you are really getting off on someone else, then maybe it is.

The answers to this question crack me up. Every person on here who answered by saying that by thinking of some one else be it Internet, strip club or the phone is cheating just lied to you and themselves. I have never heard of some one NOT at some point think of having sex with some one else. Usually guys prefer to do this during sex. Is this cheating? NO it is a natural act one that can not be stopped. Most woman will fantasize once or twice.. or more also.
Strip clubs can provide a great service. The guy goes looks dreams comes home and then lives his dream with his wife or girlfriend. Woman can also go and enjoy the show go home and have a great night.
Cheating comes in to play when you go out and look for some one to have sex with.
Some people believe that going to strip clubs, phone sex and cyber is cheating which is their right to believe. If you are with some one that has this belief keep your self home your fingers off the keyboard and your phone on the hook. While you may not think its cheating your loved one does and its she/he who's feelings matter. You never want to hurt the person you love. If you still feel the need to do these things play with your girlfriend or boyfriend.

It really depends on your morals, and your girlfriends. If hse thinks going to a strip club is cheatng then why would you go? She is more important than a strip club, so changing one little habbit wont hurt. Cyber sex is cheating your having imaginative sex with some strange woman on the internet. So basically your imagining having sex with another woman, its not cheating but in my book it would be, because your girlfriends there for that.

You may not touch, but your giving your girlfriend/spouse the lowest of respect when you do stuff like that. Goin to a strip club makes one think her body is not good enough, and cyber sex.....well you just dont do it.....that can cause a divorce. Appreciate her more, give her the attention your giving all the other women and your relationship will strengthen.

I think so. I don't think it is something that a married or committed man should do. However, if you are going like once a month with the boys or for a bachelor party - something like that then I don't see the harm. But if you feel you need to, maybe there is something lacking in your relationship at home. Try to work on that, and the need to go will end, you won't even think about it, if you are happy in your relationship now.

If you look at this in the strict sense of the law, the thought of doing something illegal is not enough. A criminal act must have intent and action. That was what my business law professor told the class. So when I asked him "What about a wet dream", he darn near threw me out of the class. However, we are not talking about the law here are we? Love and devotion is a voluntary act. "For Better For Worse" means just that. Without the mutual commitment...there is nothing there.

yes, cybersex and going to strip clubs are both cheating. any decent self-respecting woman would drop your disgusting self in a nanosecond if she caught you doing either.
