My hair is naturally wavy... is there any way to straighten it WITHOUT a straightener or straightening chemicals? ...maybe with a blowdryer? Thanks...

My hair is SUPER coarse and Curly curly curly. I straighten it practically EVERY day with the blow dryer. First I wash it, condition it, then I use like Frizzease or any other type of anti frizz serum .Then I blowdry all over till it's still kinda damp, then I just use a brush and "PULL" while I'm holding the dryer close to the hair. Keep pulling, down over and over and over... When it is ALL dry and pretty straight, I use the "cold" button on the blowdryer to give it a nice shine... Good Luck!

you can use a hair-dryer, but depending on the thickness and how curly it might not be all that effective (unless done by the hairdresser) I have thin hair that is curly, and although i could blow-dry it straight and look nice, if i walked out the door and there was a little moisture in the air - it would frizz up again.

There are lots of cheap straighteners out there tho - and if you get on with a ceramic plate it doesnt damage your hair. Its the ones without the ceramic that burn/singe your hair.

Any form of straightening will dry out your hair if you do it often - so make sure you put regular treatments in!

Yes. You can use a blowdryer....but you have to have a LOT of patience...especially if your hair is thick. My grandmother sometimes blow drys my hair straight and it takes like 15 to 20 minutes. But thats probably one of the only ways without a straightener...besides a straightening perm.

Start by using certain shampoos for wanting straight hair. (shampoos dont always give you the straight hair you are looking for) When your hair is wet, take a round barrel brush and blowdry it while brushing it straight...
There are many products that you can get to improve your hair with your without a straightener! (balm, syrum) I have the same problem with my hair! Bedhead has really good products that will keep your hair smooth and keep the frizz out! I forget the name, but its in a tall lime green can/bottle!!! Using a straightener always gives your hair an extra nice sleek look to it! I dont know if u dont wanna use it becasue of damage, there are protective products just for heat on your hair!

You need to put a protectant on your hair before you dry it and that will help the frizz, depending on the length of the hair, you can blowdry it then use an iron,if it's long or blow it out with a big round brush if it's shorter. you can try and have a stylist straighten it for you and you can keep it straight for quite a few days.

I have very curly hair, and for awhile, I straightened it daily. I infrequently used warmth protectant, which dried it out thoroughly. it might ruin off SO surely, and finally went from being 1/2 way down my back, to my shoulders. i wager i did not get the hint. besides, I fixed this countless recommendations. Get shampoo and conditioner it really is designed for dry, brittle, breaking hair. i like to recommend Nexxus professional-Mend. That for Shampoo, Conditioner, and warm temperature Protectant. It mends the split ends, and helps fix moisture on your hair, that are the wide type a million motives for hair breakage. do not straighten your hair. It sucks, even with the undeniable fact that it also dries it out, and sucks it of moisture. artwork along with your curls. Use hair serums, that fix moisture, and also will fix split ends and stuff. attempt stuff from Paul Mitchell. he's a genius. (':

First of all, use some leave in conditioner to protect your hair from heat from the blow dryer. Then, use a straightening brush, mine is the one by scrunchii. Blow your hair dry while constantly combing the brush downward

Um those are only way i heard of straightening hair. With a perm or a flat iron. Flat irons work great! I love mine i got it at Wal Mart. Blow dryer might work but i think it would just make your hair poofy n everywhere.
