I recommend stuff called Knockout Spray for in the house it is made by Virbac and unlike bug bombs you can spray under the bed and in the cracks around the walls. Bug bombs go straight up and come down. Use Capstar to kill what is on the dog, and then use something like Sentinel, will also deworm, to keep them off for 30 days without having that nasty oil and such that Advantix puts on them. Spray the yard with Virbac yard spray. You need to do all three the same day to get rid of them. One flea can lay 40 to 50 eggs a day and they can lay them every day. So in one month you could have 1,200 to 1,500 flea eggs in your house waiting to hatch. Good luck.

to get rid of fleas you have to first get them out of your yard and home. when you get ready to do your house dont just bomb. wash everything like you would if your kids came home with lice.. wash all in hot water and vacume real good then bomb the house. then take your pup to either your vet or groomer and have them flea diped and have a spot on put on or you can do it your self. those advantix and front line are kinda costly so you can run down to your local petco and get some zodaic or cutter spot on, works just as good as the frontline but its half the price. and it smells really good.

Use a good flea and tick shampoo and use frontline plus, it works great for my lab. Also treat your yard and wash the dog's bed.

Go to grocery store or pet store and buy flea and tick medicine that's liquid. You squeeze the applicator to apply on back of dog, starting at top of shoulders.

advantage, frontline, and revolution go on the dog/cat topically and is absorbed in the skin. This is effective for 30 days.

I always found that white rain shampoo and conditioner worked really well on both of my dogs and left them smelling wonderful when I was finished.
