why is it that we call a drive way a drive way when we park on it and we call a park a park way when we drive on it

park way is used to describe a recreational area such as a city park well duh think about it ♥

because, the governmental society, are working on a scientifical breakthrough of technology, that has been going for a LONG time. they are trying to see how many people are confused by the names of what they give things such as driveways and parkways. then they try to count how many people actually ask about it. this is all the information they have currently given out. :]
