first of all you need to back off! and secondly...if she was one of your "bestest" friends then you wouldn't be asking this question because you would already know the answer. You just don't do that to a friend.

You definitely need to back off. You don't wanna betray your best friend, because she'll be with you the rest of your life, standing up for you, answering all your questions. She'll be there to help you through your toughest times, but this guy could break up with you and leave you with nothing. So back off. You don't wanna lose your best friend. =]

No matter what I say. You are going to follow your heart. However in doing so remember he chose your best friend and she must have chosen him. If she is his choice. Are you able to handle rejection? Or be a cheat against your so called best friend.
