Datainment camp? As in Detention? Held and nothing more? No white noise? no sleep depravation? It would be like either a prison or a P.O.W camp wouldn't it? Any place where torture is inflicted to ME sounds like a concentration camp! Not to the extent of the nazi scum, but still a concentration camp!

No he is the ex-leader of a state ! not a terrorist,

in your best Arnie accent:
"who the **** cares Anyhow?.. i am Arnold, Arnold will break your arm off and feed it to you! "
followed by feeding nine millimeter uzi bullets into Sadams nostril..."

Dunno , but the poor bastard has been stiched up totally...the states put him in power, and armed him and his nation in the first place .. that was the first stage of the AMerican vs Iran proxy war, they funded trainned and supplied Saddam to fight Iran, just like we now do for Israel, and they now fight on the Us's behalf against Iran, and VISA VERSA .

BESIDES THE PRISION IN CUBA IS GOING TO CLOSE, IT WAS ILLEGAL, AND BROKE MORE CONTRAVENTIONS THAN YOU CAN SHAKE A STICK AT...
AND THE CLAIM THAT THE US HAD THE RIGHT TO DO WHAT THEY DID IM SENDING PEOPLE TO CUBA, IS A LOAD OF RUBBISH, AND THE ARGUMENT THAT THE PRISONERS DID NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS TO BE PRISONERS OF WAR, AS THEY WHERE UNLAWFUL COMBATANTS IS FLAWED.. AS EVEN NON LAWFUL COMBATANTS AND CIVILIANS ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ACCESS TO HAEBUS CORPUS, AS WAS THE CASE WITH IRA , THEY WHERE TREATED AS CIVILIANS, EITHER WAY AROUND NO ONE S SUPPOSED TO FALL BETWEEN THE CRACK AS HAPPENED IN CUBA.. NO BODY, AT LEAST NOT WHERE OUR GOVERNMENTS ARE CONCERNED, THEY LET US ALL DOWN WITH THAT ONE.. ALL OF HUMANITY.
AGAIN..

No. He's not a terrorist. He was the dictator of a sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the U.S. But George Bush and his family have a personal vendetta against Hussein, and Dick Cheney wants all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so his Exxon-Mobil buddies can get richer and richer and richer.
Hussein is undergoing a mock "trial" to make it look like Iraq is a new democracy. He will be convicted and imprisoned for life in an Iraqi jail. Cheney and Bush don't give a damn whether Iraq is a democracy; all they care about is their own personal interest. If they wanted to promote democracy, why aren't all the other dictatorships ruled by evil despots being invaded? Because all those other dictatorships have no easily-accessible OIL. Within a year, we'll also attack Iran for the very same reason: OIL. -RKO-

First, Saddam is being tried in an Iraqi court for his crimes against the Iraqi people. Second, your understanding of concentration camps might be incomplete. Please review the Nazi use of concentration camps before and during World War Two. I think you'll find that the purpose of the camps was to provide slave labor, recover body parts for the Nazi war effort, and to gas and kill millions of people. As far as I know, the people in Cuba are being detained - hardly a concentration camp.

America has a DETAINMENT camp in Cuba, where terrorists who tried to kill Americans are now enjoying the best living conditions they have ever known.

Saddam isn't there because he is being tried by an Iraqi court for crimes against humanity and against his own countrymen. He and his co-defendents will eventually be found guilty and hang.

He is still on trial for atrocities that he committed against his own people in Iraq. He will probably serve out the rest of his years in an Iraqi prison (if he is not put it death). That is a MUCH worse punishment than putting him in Git-mo would be! Let them have him! Why should the American tax-payer pay to support scum like that? We support enough scum already.

i became attracted to Carlos' answer as to the place have been the human rights in Korea, China, and in his very own journey in Cuba: i'm afraid that's the entire factor. Denying somebody prisoner-of-conflict status because of the fact which you experience like it, denying human beings due technique, torturing (regardless of if purely fairly), and use of 'rendition' to third-party international places so as that persons might properly be tortured with impunity is meant to be executed by ability of the enemy, no longer the U.S. All protection tension workers at the instant are in extra effective possibility because of the fact U.S. enemies can say, "If that's o.ok. with the U.S. then it could possibly be o.ok. for us to disclaim them (protection tension workers) prisoner-of-conflict status, or due technique, or to torture them." specific, different international places work together in those activities, yet isn't that the reason we went into Iraq? properly, perhaps it became the seventh or 8th reason after WMD, Iraqui/Al-Quaeda ties, conserving an historical civilization, regime exchange, letting democracy flourish, etc.

this is a very good question, because whose in this jail not a camp (camp sounds sort of fun) is innocent people not all of them but lets say 90%. and saddam is not , so America is very smart country they but the innocent people in jail and the bad ones are kept free.

Because we do not have the real Saddam in custody, he is an imposter. The real Saddam was exiled to the tropics of Trinidad. We are only there to defeat the East.
