Since you have concerns about the issue, you might be well advised to have a discussion with your pastor on the topic and explore your feelings.
I feel this is a question that only you can answer for yourself. As Christians, we work in a world where many things operate against the grain of Christan ideology. For example, what if you worked in a property management company that discriminated against poor minorities? What if you worked in a manufacturing plant that also made parts that went into military hardware? What if you worked in an office where you were asked to cover for a boss's indiscretions or dishonesty?
If you take this job, will abortion be the only issue for you, or will you review the ethics of each procedure that crosses your desk? What will you do when you see disabled Medicaid clients being denied needed services or equipment because there are problems in the paperwork? What if you see someone getting a cosmetic procedure that you feel is unnecessary or wrong?
I do not mean to be harsh about this, just to point out that there are so many wrong things in this world besides abortion (which, by the way, I also strongly disapprove of for a number of reasons). I just want to point out that this might be a better position than others available to you, or it might not.
I know in my own former job, I found myself increasingly uncomfortable with the ethics of the company I worked for, and when the opportunity came for me to go elsewhere, I did.
Your decision may or may not involve other people (such as a partner or family) who may wish to be part of your discernment process on this issue.
In the end, you need to search your heart, but I think some conversation with others close to you may be helpful as well. I wish you all the best!

Only if you decided to deny the right of a person to go through with an abortion as you are discriminating on the grounds that it contrivenes your personal beliefs. Whether or not you think having an abortion is evil, many out there do not and if they have a choice then you by all means have not right to take that choice away from them.
Dont go for the job if you feel stongly about it, it may be better for you and the prospective patients that you didnt.

We are to live in this world, but not be of this world. Unfortunatly sometimes we can't control what the world throws at us in our jobs or at school etc. I believe that you should pray about it yourself and make sure that this is the job that God has in tail for you, if there are no doors closed from getting it then I would not worry about the tasks at hand, maybe God has another reason for you being there, such as witnessing to certain ppl there, and you might never even have to sign a referral for abortion. We don't know God's plans for us, but He knows your heart. Completely trust God and everything will work out, remember that worry and fear are tools of the Devil, They are not from God. So relax and pray specifically and follow the path that God has for you, you will know you are on it when things that you pray about just seem to fall into place. Good luck:)

I don't think you should take the job. The fact that you are concerned about it is probably the Holy Spirit trying to warn you. I have been a Christian a long time and have had trouble with jobs that require you to do something that is against your beliefs such as lying for the boss (saying someone is not there when he is, etc.) Keep the job you have until the Lord opens up the right opportunity.

Do you need the job? I mean could you do anything else for even less money? I don't believe I could assist anyone in getting an abortion, even if its just transferring a phone call. The fact that you question it, is good. My advice would be to find another job right away. I would not wait on a good job-I would take the first one that comes up. Unless you really don't need the money-in that case I would quit today! You can tell your employer that you can not do any part of your job that would require you in any way have part in an abortion, even clerical. Tell them it is against your religion. By law they will have to comply-you may have to threaten a law suit. But I would get out of there now.

Christian viewpoint:
I couldn't do it, before the Lord. I used to talk with girls/ladies going into abortion clinics about their choice, and knowing what I know... before God, I could not refer those girls to get abortions. This is entirely a conviction before the Lord, and two people were right when they stated 1) you would be hypocritical if you believed abortion to be wrong and yet transferred ladies to people who would help them get abortions and 2) someone else can do the job if you do not. We can't stop sin, but we don't have to give any hints in participating with it.
Keep praying. My encouragement: don't be guilty by association.

From the Christian view point, for just a moment, think what causes a person to come to you for abortions. Is the person got raped and in the process got pregnant. Is the person minor and somebody just took advantage and impregnated her ? Did the person is so helpless that she finds it difficult to feed herself and hence to decided to abort as she is not sure that she can give a good life to the child. Is the pregnancy going to be a life threatening situation. So do your duty and leave the religion to your private world and church. This way you will be at peace.

If you have a problem with abortion to the point that you cannot objectively process such an application without first thinking about the results of that application then it would be wrong for you to take the job.
Since you even asked the question the answer is obvious. You have no place taking this job.

It sounds as though the Holy Spirit is convicting you. If you feel wrong about doing it, you probably should look for another job. It's true that it probably would not make a difference to the people who are seeking the abortions, but sometimes you have to make a stand for what you believe in. Pray about it, and God will give you the answer you need.

ROGGYGIRL,
Good question. It is never a good thing to take a job that by your own admission, would conflict with your conscience.
It has been my experience that when something like this comes up, the devil is there to tempt you. But the good news is that there is a blessing that follows. Put this job out of your way. Remove it from your consideration.
The blessing will come. Be patient.
