I know that they originated from Area 51 in NV. I believe that is where they are now as well.

Edwards Air Force Base, Nevada.
Ramstien Air Force Base, Germany
Eglin Air Force, Florida
Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland
Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana (8th Air Force HQ.)
Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada
My Dad is a Brigadier General in the United States Air Force and I am privy to such information. By the way, that's all of them.
And this information is classified TOP SECRET for the next 56 hours- oops.
Oh well, let's hope a terrorist isn't reading this, huh.

Well the girl that says her daddy is a BG is full of it. I was stationed for 4 years at Eglin (and hold a security clearance high enough to know) and there are no Blackbirds at Eglin....also visited most of the bases she listed and oddly enough never saw one at any of those. Like was said, NASA has some and the rest are in storage.

there were 32 of them build, 12 were lost leaving 21 still in existence. Most of these are in museums. Not sure if any are still flying.
Don't forget there is a counterpart to the SR71 which is the YF12A
There use to be one at Eglin when I was stationed then in the late 60's.

They used to be at Beale AFB near Marysville CA. I imagine that some are still there.

NASA keeps two for high altitude research. There were two at Edwards AFB for the same reason.
