dysfunctional culture? "desert religions" repression? not for all parents, of course. some had the good fortune to be raised by healthy parents who were not brainwashed and made to feel guilty about natural things. liberation from dysfuctional and repressive ways of being are slowly gaining ground. take two aspirin and call me in 3000 A.D. and we'll check the progress, eh? ;-)

That's a good question. I have actually found it much easier to talk to my granddaughters about body and sex issues that it was to talk to my own children. Maybe my being 30 years older make a difference, I don't know.

If they are insecure about their body, they probably dont want to talk about it. I've noticed that with my parents too. Even though i personally wouldnt make fun of them, i'm sure some people would.

it was something thar parents dident talk to them about so its hard for them to talk to you about it
