Why not Happy Muffin, with "Hap" or "Muff" as a nickname? Why not according to color (grey poodle named Cinder, as cinders from a fireplace or cinderella) or habit (Happy is good!), or a combo of both the Fathers & Mother's names. My horses name was Titan which was made up from Dad: Pac Man and Mom: Top Lady. Just suggestions...

Yikes. I'd go with neither, do you want to be the typical toy poodle chick? I got a maltese recently and named her Roxie, which suits her perfect. Look @ the puppy, and a name will come to you,if Happy or Muffin does it,than that's it. :)

I like happy better than muffin, plus she will be able to recognize happy easier because of the hard 'ee' sound at the end.

neither, because of the fact the canines on seventh heaven is named happy, and muffin is the call of a wealthy previous woman. attempt cheescake or something else that no one else has. Be innovative and have relaxing!
