ok...well i am 16 years old, pretty, smart, i wanna be a child psychologist when i get older, and write books! i can sing and dance...i love to preform on stage! but guys dont ask me out..... im not fat ...but im not skinny either...im funny, get along with everyone...but no guys ask me out! and all the guys i talk to are like way way too shy around me ...what is the deal!! (i like being single because i can focus on school, and music) but after a while it get boring!! plz give advice....

They could be intimidated by you. You could try asking out a guy instead of waiting for them. Some guys are just too afraid of rejection to speak up around the girls that "have it all".

Well I looked at your yahoo 360 page and you are a pretty 16 yr old. You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders for being 16. Guys will be guys first of all. They are just as scared as you are. I wonder if your not in the right crowd to meet guys. You like to sing and dance and most guys aren't in thoughs kind of classes. I'm not sure why they guys you do hang around with are beyond shy. Maybe it goes back to Guys are shy just like you. So lets say you like one of them. Maybe you need to do the "flirting" to start it. But if they don't respond then I would just move on. You are a pretty girl so be proud of yourself!!!!!

i know it's easier said than done, but maybe you should ask the guys out! If you're as nice as you say - then i'm sure it will be hard for the guys to turn you down. i was never good on being the one to ask a guy out - but i did take the initiative in emailing my current boyfriend after we first met - and now - life is good! so go for it girl - ask the guys out! you'll find your prince - just keep your head up!

If you are really as wonderful as you say you are then I'm guessing that guys are intimidated by you. Maybe you need to make the first move and ask a guy out...or even give a few more hints to them to make the move.

Because you are so self confident they may be intimidated. It might help if you asked them out. It is OK to do that. As you get older the guys get more confident and will ask you out more often but until then just ask them out.

Their probably intimidated. Dont be in such a rush because once they come around you will wish they hadn't! Your young, engage hanging out with your friends and focus on school like you have been doing.

It sounds like you got alot going! Good for you! Don't stress over boys asking you out. When you are least expecting it- that is when you are gonna find someone who cares for you as a person!

Well darlin, you really answered your own question. You don't want a relationship, so why would you expect him to ask you out. If you make it clear to a guy that you aren't interested in ltr he is going elsewhere.
