ideally you may attempt to discover somebody that shares your pastime, somebody that performs activities (i individually love basketball *hint*hint* jk) you may definately carry on with basketball, once you're sturdy sufficient to be regarded at by using scouts then he could understand that it particularly is a extensive deal. If he does not that basically potential he's selfish and that it wasn't meant to be. All in all carry on with basketball, it could or won't be your destiny profession in spite of the shown fact that it will make achieving it that lots extra undemanding.

He may or may not understand, so there is a chance if you keep doing basketball he'll break up with you. But I would stick with basketball and try to do my best to make him understand! But it really is your choice and nobody can make the decision for you.

High school basketball is one of the best expierences you can have. Whatever you do don't give that up because you can never get it back. If that guy doesn't understand that then get rid of him...he's a loser.

I'd say go for the basketball. You won't always be young enough to play, but there will always be guys/men out there, even when you're older.

FIRST OF ALL, YOUR RELATIONSHIP SHOULD NOT BE BASED ON THE FACT THAT YOU PLAY BASKETBALL, BECAUSE YOU PLAYED BASKETBALL WHEN YOU MET HIM, RIGHT? SO HE KNEW IT.
SECOND OF ALL, YOU ARE STILL IN SCHOOL....SO IT IS NOT LIKE YOU ARE ABOUT TO LOSE YOUR FIANCE OVER THE BALL.
NO MATTER WHAT, SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT YOU, WILL BE SUPPORTIVE. IF HE IS INSISTING THAT YOU NEED TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH HIM, INVITE HIM TO COME ALONG AND WATCH THE GAMES, COME ALONG TO PRACTICE. BUT, IN ALL THIS, PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO WORK ON GOOD GRADES, THEY ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE BALL...AND GOOD LUCK

Wow! Good question! That's tough, but I would lay him down gently that you need to focus on your future but if he loves then he will try to pick things up with you afterwards.

You're are right. If you can't do your thing, and your b/f can't stand it he's gonna have to learn to grow up and love you for who you are. At least I see you do care. May that's what you got to tell him.
