Give me actual answers, not "no" or"I don't know". I don't except those answers so if you don't have a answer, then just ignore my question. Also, I'd love the pomeranian to be a male not a female. You will get a comment and a 4 or 5 star rating if you give a complete description of what color it is, a picture or a discription of how healthy it is. (I would love the pom to be creamish color and light gold. It should look like a two colored Pomeranian.)

I would especislly love for vets or pet experts to answer this question, but very good pom owners are accepted also.

Also, I want a Pomeranian because I want to have something like a dog to make me feel better if I get sad and for protection, not for shows or getting rich. Oh, and I change my mind, it doesn't need to be free but it has to cost $100-$180.

To be blunt, I can tell you that you'd be disqualified by any rescue organization just from reading this post so you're likely out of luck for getting a free pom.

Pomeranian rescue does not act as a shopping mall for someone who's looking for a designer dog, they're looking for an owner who wants the dog for the "right reasons". As someone who's been involved with two rescue organizations, I would have been polite, but the minute you started specifying looks over nature or love for the breed, you'd be put on our "extremely long waiting list".

Girl, you do not need a dog. Lovers of specific breeds love the breed and what it stands for, not just for what the dog can do for them. If you are looking for specific color, etc, then you are looking for a breeder. And NO breeder is going to even let a pet-quality puppy go for what you are willing to pay! It's like this - if you can't afford the ticket price on a puppy, you can't afford the puppy for the long-haul.

well at least you are now willing to pay a tiny bit of money for a pure breed dog, totally loved the reply from the lady that said you would go to the bottom of a very long list.........my feelings exactly, for such a tight fisted person you sure do have a lot of demands, maybe you should save up your allowance and actually get what you want, you know when you demand all that stuff you really should be fisting up the cash for it.

I am originally from Indiana. I really do doubt that you will find that breed of dog for the amount of monies that you want to pay. Go to http://www.pet.com and see what you can find. I am a dog lover so I wish you the best.

"Free" dogs are usually someone else's problem dog. If you decide to buy one, you can find a great breeder at
http://www.akc.org/breeds/pomeranian/index.cfm
http://www.akc.org/breederinfo/breeder_search.cfm

You can also find info about the breed clubs on the akc site - they have a rescue group where you can get an older dog for a lot less money.

Good luck finding a purebred pom for free anywhere. Check the shelters, rescues, and newspaper ads, but most of them will not be free.

You can try checking local papers, but it's not likely you'll find one for under $400. Unless it's a scam from Africa!

Please contact your local animal shelter and save a precious Pomeranium dog's life.
They are healthy and lonely.
You will probably find one too fit all your criteria too!

Enjoy,

go to petfinder.com to adopt one in your area - you can see their pictures, age, sex, color, and behavioral history online in many cases without even leaving your chair.

Best of luck to you!
