well if you are both going to the same place then split the bill in half but if you are going to 2 differet places the main distance should be split in half then when one is dropped off the other pays the rest of the way to their location and then that amount should be split as well. However if this is a date and your the man you pay the full fair . And if she dont end up at your place she didnt like you anyhow...... lol

The one who gets off first should pay half of the fare stated on the meter. That way you pay half of it too plus the remainder of the fare to your destination. That's the fairest.

the cabbie will tell you how much to pay....it's not necessary to split the payment since you are not riding to the same destination....only on the same way to the destination...
