I like imported beers and shy away from Mexican beers because the Mexicans won't even buy it. When I was in Mexico I bought some beer that had an opener in the bottom of the bottle, cool but don't remember the brand. Are their beers made from $hitty water?

Come on, for real trip? It's because Bud is brewed and bottled in Mexico now. Yep! brewed, bottled and shipped by real Mexican people down there, getting paid by American corps. An American beer gone south along with the Keebler Elves and Levi's. What a picture...Keebler Elves on the beaches of Mexico, decked out in Levis, munching their Fig Newtons, washing them down with Bud Light, and singing the Star Spangled Banner in Mexican. LMAO! Hey if Mexican beer is made from $hitty water than so is Bud light, yuk, what a pisser thought that is. Go with good ol Irish beers, some Sam Adams or something, they'll keep you safe from the bad poopy's the morning after.

If you were to go to mexico, would you buy bud light there? Knowing that there it would be considered an import beer, and thus overpriced? Forget about legal issues and budgents, how about some common sense....

All the Mexican convenience stores in my area advertise the living crap out of a brand called 'Tecate'. Which I'm guessing is Spanish for 'horsepiss' because that's exactly what it tastes like.

Give me a Jack and Coke any day.

I take it you don't drink Corona? Bud Light is probably the cheapest thing they can find. Do a price check and then address the reality: Mexicans who are still legally Mexican are probably on a budget; no sense spending more than the minimum for their suds.

No their beers are no made with "shitty water." They buy the cheapest beer just like most beer drinkers who have little money.

Where I worked it was always Corona. Bud is cheaper though, much more affordable with those "low wages"

I think its because they like the taste of Bud Light better. And it is a better quality beer
