tasty and healthy. Something that will give them energy and not sluggish. We also play when it is cool not too hot, therefore warm things would be fine. Some examples that I am looking for are like the mud & dirt cups that are pudding and crushed oreos. They are high school kids but I still want the creative kids snacks. So any websites or ideas would be great!

Oh and I have already been to kraftfoods.com so please don't give me any of those! Thanks most ideas gets 10 points!!!!!!!!!

Well i would say something thats low GI.... so it releases engery slowly not in one rush .... and i think the pudding and crushed oreos are a little to high in sugar for them before the game ... u need something that burns slowly. Try the link below.. hope this helps

Oranges cut into wedges
plenty of vitamin C as you know..

a little OJ on their fingers will keep the ball from slipping out of their hands.....even on a rainy day

you may want to cut them off school grounds though as a knife would be considered a weapon and could cause problems

Well during the summer months I Coach a fast pitch travel ball team. 16U girls, fruit, water, crackers will keep them going for 3 or 4 games. And of course the mandatory chilidogs and hamburgers with chili fries. :d

ahhh...the lovely snack bags. to make it easier on yourself i would just throw in a brown paper bag: granola bars, fruit by the foot, juice boxes, peanut butter crackers and maybe some M+M's. but if you want to get creative - doesn't the Magazine Family Circle have cute recipes in them for kids snacks? or Women's Day. try teachers magazines...or books...they usually have fun snacks for teachers to make for their kids. good luck!

oh and popcorn balls!
