Like a one or two sentence answer to a question or instruction. I have said to my son "Honey, please do not bite the nose off the styrofoam head." The one that makes me laugh the hardest gets 10 points!

In my newspaper there's a column called "Backfence" written by a guy who writes about various things--and has a 4-year-old daughter of his own--and this very subject was one of the stories he did (he had people write in and tell what it was that was said to their child). It was written quite awhile ago, so I don't remember all the stuff he put, but one of them was "Jimmy, pull up your pants and stop licking the fence!"

I was at her T-ball game and was trying to tell her how to stand, I was in the stands, and I yelled "spread you legs" Then I heard how it sounded. She was only 4.
