You want the rash to dry up and go away. Dont moisterize. Take a long hot bath with a generous amount of baking soda in the water. This works for babies who have heat rash, and should work for you too. I do this for my 6 mo. old when she has diaper rash. It works quickly.

Cortisone cream should clear it up. If it itches put something cold on it to relieve the itch so it will not get infected from scratching. You can also take a allergy med to help (claritn benadryl).

Buy over the counter Benadryl - dr always prescribes that first, if that doesn't work then you need to go to you Doctor for a prescription.

use tea tree oil ointment. it is all natural and usually has aloe to soothe skin. if it is spreading, best to see a doc. is it itchy? benadry cream will calm it down, but then i would switch over to tea tree oil. good luck
