When I had mine done he said not to eat for a few hours and then after try to eat soft foods, I'm guessing Ice cream is pretty soft. The most important thing is to rinse your mouth every time you drink, eat or put anything in your mouth.

My piercer told me I could eat anything that was soft, including ice cream, but just to be safe ask your piercer. Although I don't see why it would be a problem since most piercers will recommend chewing on ice to ease the pain.

you can--i drank Slurpees all the time when i got mine....the only problem was the metal bar would get so cold that it hurt. My tongue felt like it had a "brainfreeze" lol
