1. Open My Computer and double click on your drive (usually c:)
2. Double Click on Program Files
3. Check if you have a folder with the scanner's name (if HP look for Hewlett-Packard for example- look for the name of the scanner that you just installed)
4. Found it yet? There you go, double click on it and you will find the lauchinf file

Click windows start, all programs, and look for the scanner program (in accessories also). I have a microtek scanner which can be accessed only through program list.

Check your program files and also look for the name of the scanner as well as just scanner.

Go to my computer, then click on scanners and cameras in the box...there you go. Good luck!
