Similar to carpal tunnel , but is the ulner nerve. Can be pinched at should, elbow or wrist. Been tested and dealing with it for years. Get a neurology test to confirm (they hook up needles to your muscle groups and run shocks to test your nerves). Not really painful and an easy test.

When there is such a total nerve involvement, is highly suggestive of nerve compression anywhere from the nerve outlet in the cervical spine down to the shoulder area.. the brachial plexus goes underneath the arm (armpit) to the arm.. it does divide and serves the 4th and 5th digit, with the other branch supplying the other fingers and thumb. So the area of the nerve being effected can be very easily determined. Is routine problem treated by a chiropractor. A physiotherapist follows instructions, is not knowledgeable reagarding the nervous system..

I had the same symptoms and it was a trapped nerve in the elbow. Minor surgery corrected it, they opened the elbow and moved the nerve. The symptoms went the same day and all was healed in two weeks. I will say though, you should have your heart checked out as the symptoms for heart problems can include shooting pains and numbness, along with tingling fingers. Good Luck.

I don't want to alarm you, but if it is your left arm this could be a heart attack. Women often suffer many small heart attacks that have almost no symptoms except numbness, left arm pain, left jaw pain and sweating and tingling and weakness in the arm and fingers, or any one or a combo of the above.
Please tell your doctor about this and insist on an electrocardiogram.

It may be a trapped nerve in your shoulder. Particularly if you spend more than 45 minutes at a time at a computer.
Ask an Osteopath or Physiotherapist for some exercises, as otherwise there is a risk of CTS or even blood clots forming.

You can't get a good answer to your question here. Your symptoms could mean many things or nothing. You need to ask a doctor. You need to be examined by someone who understands what your symptoms might mean. Any answer you get here would be a guess at best, and at worst could be misleading and prevent you from getting proper treatment.
I did spend some time trying to research your symptoms but could not find anything definitive enough to even offer a suggestion that makes sense for someone your age.
My best advice - seek medical advice. Take care.

You may have a newly discovered condition known as Hughes Syndrome or sticky blood syndrome.. I have a similar feeling in my feet and lower leg, like pins and needles. Maybe due to diet, the blood becomes sticky and does not flow to the extreme parts of the body, ie. toes, feet, fingers and hands. Many people have been diagnosed as having MS but they do not, they have this sticky blood syndrome. Easily treated by taking one junior aspirin a day or a quarters of a normal aspirin. This thins out the blood and allows it to flow better.

Could be a number of things, if it persists see your Doctor. You could have a nerve that is pinching anywhere up into the neck, you could be developing arthritis, you could have nerve damage, it could be from fibromylagia...you'll need the correct tests to determine what causes your symptoms.
