You got this question from gamefaqs, didn't you?
Anyways, they would probably get along perfectly fine. Both are antiviolent and tried to teach tolerance.

What an interesting question!
I do think that Jesus and Buddha would have been very cordial and polite to each other and gave each other a great deal of respect. They both seem like the types of people that would do that. Not sure if Buddha was an Atheist, though. He never really mentions the idea of divinity outright and often in a symbolic way makes a passing mention that sort of means that if a divine being exists it doesn't matter because it isn't what was going to enlighten you, you had to do it yourself. I'd say Buddha was probably more Agnostic than Atheist (like Mahavira who is one of the Tirthankaras of Jainism). And Jesus may have said he was the Son of God, but Buddha probably wouldn't have been bothered. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow secretly understood each other. They were both sort of mystical like that.

Since when is Buddha an atheist??????????? Excuse me but I'm Buddhist and I'm not atheist in the very least! Where are you getting your information from anyway? You got nerve talking like you do. That's the problem with Christians they think they are all right and nothing else exists but their screwed up belief which I might add is WAY OUT THERE! There is no right or wrong. I think Plato proved that a long time ago. There is only being. I'm not religious and never will be. Only spiritual and that makes me wrong? I don't think so. Your the reason why this world is so screwed up! Bush claims to be Christian-I'm getting a clear picture of this person very well. I'm also getting a clear picture of you also. Bush, you, you Bush. All the same huh?

I think that they are both very calm loving and tolerant people. I think that they would be just fine. I think it is extremists that do not get along. Jesus was a very peaceful loving man. Throw Gandhi into the mix and it would still be fine. Passive resistance is very mild as well. I think Jesus and Gandhi have that in common. Is the Buddha truly an atheist? I do not know enough about Buddhism to answer that one. Perhaps you need a theologian or christian who has a PHD to tell you that one. Perhaps you need a Buddhist I do not know that. I think that they were both so tolerant that that would have not mattered. Some people are able to get past differences and love all.

Buddha would treat Jesus as a fellow Bodhisatva, they were both enlightened people. Buddha was not an atheist, he believed that the higher power was incomprehensive to humans and told us to neither believe nor disbelieve in one for it would cause attachment and become a roadblock to enligtenment.

I believe they would get along famously. They might not agree on everything, but I doubt they would let those differences separate them. Neither of them were confrontational or violent men (the one exception is Jesus when he freaked out over people selling things in front of the temple). I see them being able to teach each other a few things.

Jesus made some wine from water he was walking on and Buddha said no because it was against the dharma to drink alcohol. Then a passing pantheist said well it's all God anyway and they all went to heaven immediately.

I don't know much about Buddha, but I do know that Jesus was loving and compassionate. I'm sure He would be accepting of Buddha, but He would definitely share the Word of the Lord with him.

I think it's really amusing how some people get really worked up over questions like this, and try to explain how it's impossible that they'd ever actually meet. It's hypothetical, guys. Of course it wouldn't really happen.
But just for the record, I think they'd get along really well.

Well.....there are some fundamental similarities between what Jesus preached and what the Buddha preached.....I think there might be some disagreements, but it wouldn't end in any sort of fight between the two of them.
