For most people, moderate doses of caffeine — 200 to 300 milligrams (mg) a day — aren't harmful. However, excessive caffeine — more than 500 mg a day — can cause irritability, nervousness, anxiety, insomnia, headaches and diarrhea.

A 16 oz grande coffee at Starbucks contains 259mg of caffeine, whereas 16oz of black tea contains between 80-140mg of caffeine. Lastly, green tea (16oz) contains 50-80mg of caffeine.

SO.....you can have 2 grande coffee's from starbucks or 3-4 16oz black teas, or 6-7 16 oz green teas and be fine. :)
