he is considered cool, gaining experience etc. etc. etc. yet when a girl sleeps around she is called a slut or is dirty or guys only want her simply to say they've scored with her?

Because unfortunately we live in a patriarchal society. It use to be a lot worse when a woman who would have recreational sex without being married was either killed or imprisoned. Hopefully as we as a people become more educated and "civilized" those opinions will disappear. Slowly the walls that trapped women into stereotypes are coming down, unfortunately it seems to be taking longer than it should.

Because women are considered 'lower' in society. We have to be so 'up-to-date' with every little thing. Society is so unconsiderate.
