Bonuses usually depend on the type of job you go for. So if you were wanting to do something that there isn't a big need for the bonus will be small if you get one at all. And don't join the military based on how much of a bonus you get. It won't matter if you hate it.

The Air Force probably has the best bonuses. Simply because you are doing the least for this extra money. My friend gota 15k bonus for being an aircraft loader in the RESERVES. That is crazy.

Army is losing people, so they're handing out money like candy. The AF needs certain jobs (Special Forces, Intelligence, aircrew), and those are the only ones with bonuses right now. Talk to the recruiter, check the website, talk to any AF people you might know.

I think the Army is handing out good bonuses. The AF isn't giving bonuses anymore, I don't believe. We are in a heavy draw down at this point so I'm not sure. Check out the AF website. That should get you pointed in the right direction.

I think I agree that Army gives the biggest bonus, I was offered a 20,000 bonus to join the army reserves. but i decided to go to the air force guard, I got a 10,000 bonus and i feel its much safer than the army.
P.s Why is it crazy to get alot of money for air force reserves? Guard and Reserve units deploy to war wayyy more than active.

i dont know about who gives out the most or anything... but i recently [like a month ago] enlisted into the air national guard [ohio] and there's a $15,000 sign on bonus for certain fields [mine was one of them] and theyre also paying 100% college tuition as well as my regular base pay, the GI bill, and the GI bill kicker... it's actually a pretty good deal [and my brother made $2000 off of me signing up for suggesting it to me haha]
the military, i believe is a good deal no matter what you choose to do. it's not just the financial, but you also get to serve and protect one of the greatest countries on the planet. [although my opinion of that might change... i DID afterall JUST enlist... but my brother's been in it for over a year and he LOVES it.]

You get the bonus of being far enough away that a road side bomb won't kill you.
