German Po-Tater Tots Salad
1 package (16 ounces) Ore-Ida Tater Tots
1 pound bacon cut in 2-inch pieces
3 cups shredded red cabbage
1 medium red onion, cut in rings
1 medium apple, cored and diced
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
Bake Tater Tots according to package directions until very crisp.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Reserve 3 tablespoons bacon drippings.
Saute' cabbage, onion and apple in reserved bacon drippings until tender.
When Tater Tots are done, add to cabbage mixture. In a small bowl, combine vinegar and sugar; mix well. Pour over Tater Tot mixture; toss to blend flavors.

Old Fashioned Potato Salad
2 tablespoons water
3-4 cups frozen Ore-Ida Southern Style Hash Browns
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon dill pickle juice
1/2 tablespoon Heinz mustard
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup celery chopped
1/4 cup radishes chopped
3 tablespoons dill pickles
2 tablespoons frozen Ore-Ida Chopped Onions
2 hard-cooked eggs, coarsely chopped
6-8 large tomatoes
Place frozen potatoes and 2 tablespoons water in a shallow microwave dish. Cover tightly and microwave on high 8-10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir once while cooking.
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, pickle juice, mustard, salt and pepper; mix until smooth and well blended. Add celery, pickles, radishes, onions, eggs and warm potatoes; lightly toss.
Slice 1/4 off the top of each tomato and hollow out the inside. Spoon potato salad into the tomatoes. Garnish with chopped fresh dill, if desired.

This is the only one I had in my recipe collections I hope it helps. It is very tasty I made it for my friends kids a few weeks back when I got stuck babysitting.
Ingredients:
6 cups frozen miniature Tater Tots
1 1/2 pound ground beef
6 tablespoons taco seasoning
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup sliced ripe or stuffed olives
3 cups shredded lettuce
6 tablespoons taco sauce
3/4 cup sour cream
Bake Tater Tots according to pkg. directions until you get them how crispy you lie them, you can also fry them in Peanut Oil if you would like to.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef over med. heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in taco seasoning.
Put Tater Tots on a serving platter. Top with taco mixture, cheese, olives, lettuce, taco sauce and sour cream.

Sure all you do is get some lettuce and a bag of tater tots from the supermarket. Fry the tatertots and put them on top of the lettuce and there's your tater tot salad and you can add anything else you want to your salad.

yes, but not to be confused with tater toss salad.. with tater toss salad you stuff tater tots in your anal cavity and you have someone suck them out with their mouth
