Microsoft Direct X?

Question

I don't play games on my pc.

Is there any reason that I should install Direct X from Microsoft. (Almost 14MB).

I watch films from www.atomsfilms.com an other sites that are simular. Plus 3D films with QuickTime that you can rotate with your mouse 360 degrees, & zoom in.

Your computer runs by following instructions written in 'code'.
now then, if an operation is to be performed more than once or twice it would take the programmer a very long time to write out the same section of code numerous times, and time is money.
so what they do, they write the operation once, and every time they want to use this operation, rather than re-write it, they just add a link to this pre-written operation and that saves them having to write out a chunk of code several times; thus the code is shorter and it can be carried out faster by the computer.

DirectX is essentially a Library of these operations that your computer uses on a regular basis, and so the newer the version, the more operations are included in the package thus it enables your operating system to do common operations much faster.

in short - no matter what you use your pc for, DirectX makes things easier for your operating syste, hense your pc will be that much quicker

direcct x enhances ur systems graphic performance, u dont have to play games to download directx,, but,,,,,,mmm,, dont argue, jsut download it if u can
