im ok just getting over a little shock im on this dating site and a guy i went to school with emailed me, its real wired. im trying to back out gracefully cause didnt get on that well with his sisters and relo's.
i thought some one would of regonised the pic of me but suppose ive changed since high school.
any ideas on backing out gracefully say like if you were set up on date and come to find last min it was some one you didnt like at school? i dont wanna be mean.but arent attracted.

If you think it might be fun but you're hesitant because of issues with his family in the past, say so. He'll be able to let you know if he's still close to them.

If you're hesitant for other reasons -- like you're just not interested -- then don't use the family as an excuse because that might backfire! Instead, just be vague and say you're looking for a different kind of guy, and wish him luck in his own efforts.

Then be honest. If your going to lie, it's going to make you feel even more worse than you already are. Um... The best way, in my opinion to get out of this in a nice way is to tell him the truth; your not interested. Just e-mail him that your not interested because you don't like him. It won't get him mad- he's a guy. He'll just be like, 'Um... Ok'. So just don't lie to him- just tell him the truth. If you can't say it to his face- them just e-mail him.

just suck it up and go on a date...have fun...it's not like you have to hook up with him and marry him later...
